Every item below is an unconditional commitment. Not a policy that can be changed without public notice. Not a clause buried in terms. A promise.

All readings processed on your device
Every EMF reading, exposure calculation, and weekly report is computed locally on your phone. Raw sensor data from the Ova Meter never leaves your device.
Location used only to look up towers
GPS coordinates are used on-device only to query the OpenCelliD cell tower database for outdoor awareness. Your location is never logged, stored, or sent to Ova.
Family profiles stored locally only
Names, ages and member profiles live on your device. Ova has no database of your family. Deleting the app permanently removes all data — we have no copy.
Wi-Fi password stored on device only
Your network password is saved on your phone to pair the Meter. It is encrypted locally and never transmitted to Ova or any third party under any circumstances.
No advertising — ever
Ova has no advertising partners. Your data will never be used to show you targeted ads — by Ova, by a partner, or by any third party. We do not accept advertising revenue.
No third-party data sharing
Ova does not sell, share, license, or transfer any user data to third parties — including analytics providers, health data brokers, or government bodies — without your explicit consent.
No children's data collected
We know our users protect children. Family member profiles, including children's names, ages and exposure data, never leave the device under any circumstances.
No silent policy changes
Any change to this privacy promise will be announced publicly in-app and on this page with a minimum of 30 days' notice before taking effect. We will never change the promise silently.
